Rafting on Tejaswini River

The Tejaswini River originates from the Brahmagiri hills of Coorg forest in the neighbouring state of Karnataka, and flows through the districts of Kannur and Kasaragod in Kerala before it meets the Arabian sea near Nileswaram. Kolladi near Cherupuzha in Kannur district is the starting point to kick off the exciting rafting trip on the river.  Your raft is immediately greeted by thick foliage, rocky banks and gigantic tree branches leaning over the river, framing your path. One must pass through dense forests of Kasaragod and Kamballur to reach Chemmaram kayam, the deepest point in the river.
This is the  one and only river rafting destination in Kerala.
